50th Anniversary Edition
The fiftieth anniversary of the Wainwright Guides was celebrated by the publication of facsimile copies of the original editions. These are still available both as individual volumes and boxed sets
2nd, Revised, Edition
As time went on the details of the routes, and of the landscape itself, changed. Chris Jesty therefore walked and worked to produce revised editions without changing Wainwright's format.
Reader's Edition
These are not the copies you'd normally take out onto the fells. This set is printed to high quality at a larger font size than the standard copies, designed for reading in the armchair.
3rd Edition in Process
Work is now under way to produce a further revision, and this involves some format changes also. Publication commenced in 2015 and further volumes are in course of preparation.
